Go Goldfields – Central Goldfields Shire, VIC
Go Goldfields (GG) is an innovative alliance of organisations, created to deliver locally relevant responses to social issues that are too complex and too long-term for previous solutions. Supported by the Victorian Government in the amount of $2.5 million over three years, we have developed a series of shire wide, community-driven approaches to improve social, education and health outcomes for children, youth and families.
Logan Together – Logan, QLD
Logan Together is a long term, whole of community effort to create the best life opportunities for every child in Logan. They’re a diverse group of people from throughout the community who share a passion for their kids’ future. By bringing together broad community experiences they aim to create real change. It’s true that it takes a village to raise a child and they invite you to join the Logan Together village.
NT Collective – NT
The NT Collective consists of two communities who are geographically far apart, but very closely aligned as they work together in the Northern Territory using a collective impact approach as part of the Opportunity Child initiative. The two communities in the collective are the Sanderson Alliance in Darwin and Strong Kids, Strong Centre (formerly Pre-birth to 4) in Alice Springs.
The Hive – Mt Druitt, NSW
6000 children under 5 live in mt druitt (2770). 33% of those children are considered ‘developmentally vulnerable’ when they start school. So together with people living and working in Mt Druitt, The Hive is working on ideas to ensure all children start school well.
The Hive is a network of people working in Mt Druitt, to bring together the community, services, businesses, government, and philanthropy to address locally identified priorities. They are on the ground facilitating local community change and influencing systems to ensure every child in Mt Druitt starts school well, and has enhanced life outcomes.
